It’s a little heavy but so easy to clip on a backpack while hiking/camping. Also has a super bright flash light which is a nice featureEverything about it works great! I'm surprised at the quality and solidness of this one because it's much lower priced so I didn't expect a whole lot but it way exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that I can charge it via USB or Solar either one... it's a true emergency power pack that should be in every home in case of an emergency. Very excited about this one!Battery function works fine, but after one use it no longer charges at all from the solar panel -- it still charges if plugged into a wall, but the solar feature is dead (I left it in full California sun for three weeks with no luck; I tried charging it halfway up from an outlet and then letting the solar function finish)....so I guess I'd say it's adequate as a battery (insofar as it is a functional battery) but I would not recommend it if you need the solar charging function.I bought this solar charger for a trip to Hawaii so I could use it on the plane as well as when hiking. I initially charged it using the power cord. It held a great charge from the start. I did charge it via sunlight and as the directions state, it could take 36 hours which seemed to be the case. As long as you’re just keeping it topped off then solar is just fine.The only issue I found is the wireless charging part is grossly underpowered. I followed the directions precisely and mostly couldn’t connect and the few times it did, it would disconnect a few seconds later. The only way I could charge wirelessly (on an iPhone and a Samsung) was to remove their cases and make direct contact with the charger. This seemed very impractical as everyone has a case on their phones. My parents had the exact same issue on the one they purchased. I used the power cord though and it filled my charging needs.This is the third solar charger I've purchased. The previous two claimed it worked with newer Iphones and they did not, so I was pleased that this one charged my iphone and did it quickly. I've yet to try and charge the charger itself with solar power, so I can't speak to how well it charges, but it charged with the USB cord just fine.
