I wanted to make some clarifications about this unit that a lot of people might have questions and some "heads up" about this unit so here we go! (I'll make it short and detailed as much as possible)PROS:1. This unit is massive. As described in the description, it is a 9in screen and it looks amazing in my car.2. It is a capacitive touch screen, meaning it is the same "feel" and "touch" as a smartphone. It is not pressure touch. Meaning the screen feels nice, though I don't think it is glass..? IPS display makes the color pop and looks amazing.3. It has Android Auto and Apple Carplay. I do not own an iphone but for those android users. No, you cannot do wireless Android Auto. Only hotwire via USB.4. Plug and play, I'm going to specify my car. 2011 Toyota Camry XLE with JBL audio system (heated seat, bluetooth, Sirius XM etc. pretty much decked out). I'm going to clarify right here! IF YOUR CAR HAS STOCK JBL SYSTEM YOU NEED A HARNESS. MESSAGE DASAITA ABOUT THE HARNESS.4. (cont.) I ordered the unit through Amazon Prime (literally came in 2 days), note it was fulfilled by Amazon. Dasaita could NOT customize the order (meaning to include the harness with the unit). This led me to messaging them via Amazon messages. They walked me through on how to order the harness. About a week later my harness came. Super easy5. Backup camera works perfectly.6. It is Android OS, you can almost download any app to the unit (no Netflix apparently?) I installed Nova Launcher. Gives it a more cleaner look and I'm able to customize it to my liking.7. Steering wheel still works. Just make sure to map it in the settings.CONS:1. AUDIO. Man, I'm bummed. Apparently I can't "fade" my audio to the back. I usually fade it to the back because I like using the rear speakers but also so that I can still hear traffic without the audio blasting on the front speakers. (also talk to passengers and be able to hear them)2. Kinda of a con? Happened during the installation process. The original "brackets" that come with your car radio did not fit the unit. So I just stuck the unit in and well, it works. Just wish I could have the brackets in there for extra stability. Note: Might be a 2011 model problem? Also no brackets are included in the unit packaging. Unit does not shake regardless of no brackets. It fits snug. With that said, I'm slamming the unit because of the audio. But hey, it's better than no audio. If you can get over that, then it's a great unit. It saves the extra step of getting a double/singe din cover and getting a unit to fit. This already comes with the cover. I installed 2 units before, JVC and Pioneer and I have to say this hands down was the easiest because of the cover and plug and play. No splicing wires except if you're doing a backup camera. I will still recommend this unit to people.EDIT 2022!!2 years has gone by and I am still loving this unit. I had some hiccups here and there but Dasaita was always there to help. I just wanted to point out some stuff from my original review.1. Technically, you can install any Android apps as long as you have the APK file and change the settings in which you're able to install unknown apps.2. I did move from an Android phone to the new iPhone 13 Pro Max. Yes, the Wireless CarPlay works and it is AMAZING. If you go through all the setup, next time you turn your car on, Zlink will automatically connect your phone to CarPlay.3. UPDATES! People argue with third-party headunits, especially Android OS, that it doesn't need to be updated often. I disagree, if you can find the recent MCU and system updates, install them. [02/2023 update, read on forums to only update IF NECESSARY. If there is nothing wrong with it then it is probably best to not update your firmware]. Ironically, my wireless CarPlay kept crashing within Zlink between 2/25 to 3/2 . I messaged Dasaita and they gave me the updated MCU and system update files. My Zlink updated from 3.5 to 4.0 and it is working again. (Side note, I see that there is an icon for Wireless Android Auto. I want to actually if that is a function now) [02/2023 update, it works]4. Final notes, if you're still deciding to get this unit, get it. You won't be disappointed and if you have an iPhone, the wireless CarPlay will be your best friend. If you have ANY issues, contact Dasaita. Since they are based in China, their response rate is usually a day later but they have been helpful throughout the 2 years I've had this unit. Not to mention it makes my 2011 Camry more sleekEDIT 02/2023Do people still read these? Haha. Well, after 3 years of purchase it is still running great. After my iPhone era (above) I decided to switch back to Android. I now have the Galaxy S23 Ultra and guess what. WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO WORKS. Though there is a bug where it doesn't automatically connect, I need to somehow disconnect my bluetooth then reenable it to have it connect. I'm currently troubleshooting to see it I can get it fixed so that I don't need to do this process every time I start my car.
