I bought this to replace the cheap plastic holder that came with my basic ICO Professional Whipped Cream Dispenser (1 Pint), which was cross-threaded during its third party deployment (these barista and confectioner conventions have some great room parties). While a bit expensive for what looks like a chrome-plated, cast-steel piece, I'm seeing a worthwhile increase to my cream-whipping stats: dispenser coolness is up 20%; +15% reload speed due to smoothness, and delivered charger load is up 6% due to less leakage; all while blisters, callouses, and scars are down by 95% over the original, rough plastic holder (I make A LOT of whipped cream). Though this holder adds another 8% to the overall package weight, I personally enjoy the more "official" feel it lends my dispenser, but those with more advanced or esoteric loadouts (such as dual wielders, agility builds, and the classic "look ma, no hands" type) may not appreciate the added weight.Overall, this holder works well, feels well-machined, and is a direct plug-and-play upgrade for the standard-issue ICO dispenser. Maybe I should have originally gone with a dispenser that came with a metal charger holder, but this is a great loadout upgrade for those who, like me, did not. In the words of my gearhead friends, flying their DIY pride: "Built, not bought."If you need a replacement charger holders, this is IT. This is the one you want; not plastic, not aluminum, THIS ONE. This type came on my ISI charger. I left my ISI out of town and ordered another brand. It came with an aluminum charger holder that was difficult to twist and puncture the canister, and would shed aluminum shavings from the threads. It eventually would no longer thread on well enough to inject the charge. I ordered this ISI holder and it threads on smoothly and works perfectly just like my full ISI charger. When the seal began to fail on the plastic charger holder that came with our EurKitchen dispenser my first instinct was to just replace the tiny gasket that had flattened out. That seemed like it'd be a huge pain though and just the gasket was around $9. Getting a whole replacement holder for a couple bucks more was a much more sensible solution. This holder works great and has a very good seal. I saw a few reviews where people had inadvertently stripped the threads of their charger with this metal holder. To be honest when using this new holder it does feel like it'd be pretty easy to damage the charger as it is very thin threads of metal on metal. We are just making sure to treat it gingerly and so far it's working very well. For us it's a great solution.Does not work with all models of ISI Whippers!I purchased this to replace the plastic charger holder for my 1 L ISI. I did not do enough research and so was disappointedThe original charger holder for my ISI Half Pint whip cream maker broke after its first use. I have had the whip cream maker stored for over 10 years and decided to take a chance on this new charger holder. It is very sturdy chrome (all metal) and is a perfect fit. Highly recommended.Cracks chargers like a champ and has a great weight to it! I deducted a star because it came covered in some sticky adhesive that I have yet been able to get off, resulting in a little bit on my hand every time I use it. Still, if you need a replacement charger holder this is a good (albeit expensive) choice.Fits perfectly with my cream dispenser and very nice since it's chrome but it's rather heavy for such a small item. I'm actually not sure if it's dishwasher safe because I threw out the packaging before checking it out. So I just wash it by hand so as not to run the risk of the chrome finish coming off. What can you say about a Chrome Charger Holder? Not much, it is metal, it holds charges. I was a dummy and bought the wrong type for my bottle, and I probably should have returned this, but...it looks fantastic sitting in my kitchen junk drawer.
