Years back we bought an EBL bundled charger with batteries and have since then only really used rechargeable batteries for things like Blink cameras, decorative lights and items etc. That charger was very limiting. It was also an 8 slot battery charger that could charge both AAA and AA's. The problem though was that you HAD to have two of the same type charging next to each other in the 4 double slots. Even if one battery was already full, you still had to have two AA's or two AAA's next to each other or they wouldn't charge. Also, you had to have them in a row, so you couldn't just put two AAA's in the last two slots, they wouldn't charge. You had to have them next to the corded end of the charger. This cheap charger that uses a USB Type C input (the other uses a proprietary charger) which is way easier to have on hand, and it doesn't matter what type of battery goes where, it will just individually charge them no matter their position relative to the input. (you have to have them orientated correctly in terms of polarity - + and it tells you which is the + and - side on the slots)When you put a battery that is charging in, the green light above it will turn on and off as it's charging. When it's full the green light will stay on. Simple. It's much more compact than my old charger as well.
