It takes longer than expected to charge, but I'm not battery expert. It beeps when it's done and shows a green light. Charges both AA and AAA. There is no "battery life" or "remote control" to rate, since it plugs into the wall and does not have a controller. I'm not sure why the review asked me about that, but it's irrelevant.These work great!! I use 1 set to play and 1 on standby for when they die. Only thing is after 2-3 charges they die very quickly after low battery warning, and once they die theyre dead - cant turn your controller back on to finish out the game or get to a safe spot.I like them, a lot.It makes a gentle beep to let you know it has started charging, and makes a second gentle beep when the batteries are charged. the green/yellow/red indicator lights let me see the state of the charging process with just a glance.Recently purchased this battery charger and I have to say I’m enjoying it really it was worth it just a simple plug in whenever I hop on my Xbox and just let it charger until I need to swap batteries and continue playing a simple repeat battery swap process and you can game all day long highly recommend this product saves me money on buying new batteries.The charger gets hot, and I recommend never leave in socket once it turns green and definitely don't leave in a socket and leave the home. Other than that, I like it.My son was going through lots of batteries for his gaming controller. I bought this and it has met his gaming needs. He hasn't had any problems with the batteries dying before the next ones are ready for use.I always use rechargeable batteries as it saves so much money in the long run. Ejemplo: 60%, 70%, 90%, 100%... como la 4 batería tiene el 100% deja de cargar y el indicador te dice que están al 100%.Tienes que estar permutando para lograr una carga mayor entre todas las baterías con la restricción de cargar en pares (2 derecha o 2 izquierda) como ya había dicho.En general, bienPretty disappointed in these, we have a microchip cat flap and a cat who likes to approach the door and then run away again, we get through a lot of AA batteries (4 at a time) so I thought we could give this a try, unfortunately one of the batteries came up as damaged or dead using the “indicator” eventually having got a full working set of rechargeable batteries together and charging them until the green light came on, they lasted barely any length of time and we were charging them more than we were able to use them. Had to give up and go back to disposable ones. Might not be the right use for these batteries?I use quite a good number of batteries of all sizes and decided last year to start using rechargeable along with a charging unit. Unfortunately, be it the brand or just my bad luck, I have not had any sustainable success with the chargers. This was the reason I chose the Energiser. Coloured light system, red,orange,green to indicate charge,charging,complete. Charged 4 batteries in a few hours.Would recommend.Have given 5 stars because the device has clear 3 stage indicators of battery charge, its compact, charges well, and detects bad batteries by bleeping - so you don't waste time with false optimisim. Seller was very efficient, in fact there was a problem with the batteries, they were immediately replaced no quibble and the replacements work fine. The entire turnaround was very quick. So I'd rather use this type of product and use this seller than risk anything super cheap. Batteries now charged for the endless Christmas lights we seem to accumulate. I thought of giving 4 stars to make this review sound more authentic but actually it does deserve 5. Thanks for good service and product.
